Adventure Saturday

This past saturday I felt adventure and adrenaline knocking, and decided to let them in!

I got my tragus pierced and I also got my 5th tattoo.

…THE PIERCING HURT!

I cried like a baby – no exaggeration.

In comparison to my tattoos and my other piercing(s), having my tragus pierced was the most painful of them all. And honestly, if I had to do it all over again, I WOULD NOT do it. Lol.

But hey! One life to live, you’re only twenty-something and allowed to do crazy things once – So I am more than prepared to LIVE IT UP!

All my love,
Zindzi

Tattoo #3

For a little under year now I have been thinking about where to get my next tattoo. I am very careful about my tattoos and where I place them because of the employability factor, and for general asthetic reason. I never want my tattoo’s to look like prison tats and I don’t wanna look like a drawing graffiti’d wall either. My other 2 are in hidden places and I want the third to follow suit. So I am thinking of placing it right where my neck meets my back, but a little lower so it can be nicely hidden. Hmm! I Still have to put thought into it. My first 2 tattoos all had meaning, so I probably will get the 3rd one when I reach another mile stones in my life – perhaps when I graduate July? I already have “The Emancipation of Raisa” and “Anomalistic Impulsive Love”…Maybe the 3rd can sumbolize success or living the dream? One thing’s for sure It will have to be a symbol or a character, I am not very fond of worded tattoos!

Ms.Zindzi's Babies!

Tonight I decided to share with my readers my two precious babies – my Tattoos! Yes, I call them my babies because they are very special to me, they are both a big part of my life (Drama-Queen!) and they symbolize something deeper than just Body Art and because they are a product of ‘me‘ really. You guys are the first to see my second baby A.I.L (Yes! I name my tattoos and what?) – I haven’t shared it anywhere on the internet before and I most probably won’t  – Not my Twitter, not my FB, not my Hi5. Only the best for the best, right? So YOU SEE IT HERE FIRST Ms.Zindzi’s babies:

MY VERY FIRST BABY! - 'Emancipation of Raisa' - At the time I got this tattoo done I had just moved away from home, had a lot of more freedom than when I lived at home with my family (not that was restricted at home or anything), and with that came a lot of responsibility. The name speaks for itself, I'm sure. The R on the tattoo stand for my middle name, Raisa. Its Russian and means Rose. SIDENOTE: It looks A LOT more painful than it actually was.

2007 - MY VERY FIRST BABY! - 'Emancipation of Raisa' - At the time I got this tattoo done I had just moved away from home, had a lot of more freedom than when I lived at home with my family (not that was restricted at home or anything), and with that came a lot of responsibility - and I have always wanted a tattoo so I figured why not get one that was symbolic of where I was at the point in my life. The name speaks for itself, I'm sure. The R on the tattoo stand for my middle name, Raisa. Its Russian and means Rose. *SIDENOTE*: It looks A LOT more painful than it actually was.

This is my second and newest baby! - 'Anomalistic Impulsive Love'. I call her that because when I went out to get this one it was a sort of on the spot decision, the idea came to me almost naturally and I love it. The 'anomalistic' derived from the fact that it is a uniquely shaped heart and hearts generally symbolize love.
