Out of the 20 tracks (I have the extended version you see)…, after one listen, I only have 10 favourites so far! – I usually am really good on picking up on good R&B tracks very quickly. But hey, Imma give it a few more listens, whivh Im doing right now. I think Chris Brown is a great artist, so I shouldn’t have much of a problem likeing the rest of the album. Because she dresses with an edge and sings with one too? Because her lyrics bear signs of ULTRA-control and ULTRA-fearlessness? Really? Or maybe it’s ‘cause in her recent photo shoots she’s been dressed in all black; hoodie, make-up and all? – Please!
Is this the kinda issh people cultivate when they have too much time or their hand or what?
Music, Theatrics, Fashion! ART! It’s all ART! And if some folk would take time to acknowledge that they’d know that most art if not all and whether we like it or not is SYMBOLIC!! Grow up, expand your mind and stop taking every issh you hear and see for face value!
I agree that her outer appearance has changes very much from her ‘Pon Di Replay’ days – and that’s OK! Her hair is different, her wardrobe has 360’d, make-up is a lot less subtle and that’s OK!
Yes, she dresses with an edge and sings with one too (evident in her “Wait Your Turn” and “Russian Roulette” singles) – But the girl’s been through a lot this year in case you forgot! Remember what happened back in February? I am sure I need not remind you! She’s got a lot on her mind and chest, and through her music is how she chooses to express it!
Daaang! Come off it people. Her music, and her dress is entirely her choice, and not everything we see or hear is literal!
These kinda silly talks is something I’d expect from a child! Not grown adults like ourselves! I am so shocked and disappointed in how a lot of folk are thinking right now!
It annoys me to hear people making these unintelligent accusations about people, not even just artists! Malicious rumours like this can happen to anyone, all it takes is one ignorant person.
Its either you’re a fan of Rihanna’s music or you’re not – But don’t try bring “devil” and “evil” as your excuse to HATE!
Last time I checked half the people talking don’t even know her personally (and neither do I)! As INTELLIGENT AND MATURE people outside of Rihanna’s personal life, and who are only exposed to her music and magazine & news clippings of her, we are supposed to be making SENSIBLE and educated assumptions (if any at all), not making unintelligent and ignorant chit-chat.
First Michael Jackson “Thriller” then Bone Thugs “Crossroads”, Tupac’s “Hail Mary”, DMX, Jay-Z, they even had talks running around about Lil’ Wayne! Remember the ‘Have you played the 2pac song backwards?’ rumour that was going around years ago? LOL!
Come on people, we’re smarter than that!

I suggest people find something else to spend their valuable time on rather than making wild accusations about talented artists!

DID BEYONCE DISAPPOINT US OR WHAT?!
I don’t know about you but after Beyonce’s performance I felt robbed! Robbed of the highlight of the night. I mean at the beginning of her performance I thought “Ok, she’s starting off slow…”, because Beyonce is an electrifying perfomer and I thought ‘Ave Maria’ was merely a lead up to ‘Ego’ or VIDEO OF THE YEAR WINNER ‘Single Ladies’ or some other recent chart-topping single. But boy was I wrong. After a string of wonderful and angelic vocals the performance was over! Yeah, over. No gyrating, no booty shaking, no glam’d out costumes, NOTHING! I wasn’t feeling her performance tonight at all. I mean really, whats with that damn wedding frock and veil? Please! Not impressed. And you know what else pissed me off?! The fact that Matthew Knowles pushed ‘Toya to the side for this disappointing Beyonce performance.

ROCSI – If you were locked onto BET’s 106 & Park RED CARPET special you couldn’t have missed Rocsi’s dress! Not sure who the designer was but it was ULTRA GLAM, ULTRA HAPPENING, ULTRA CUTE, ULTRA FAB! It was cuuuute! I really loved it, because it accentuated her subtle curves really well, just thought I had to mention that!
TARAJI - Oooh Child! Honey had that all covered front, long sleeve dress ULTRA SEXY low back. Reeeeal NICE.
BEYONCE – I think I kinda liked the retro look. the unmoisturized hair is what Im not too sure about. The hair looked long and dry, not a good combo Bey. You should know that Ms. L’Oreal.
MUCH PROBS TO JAY-Z!
I mean DOA is not a catchy tune but it certainly sends a message to the Hip Hop/Rap community and its doing a hell of a job by giving Jay-Z his come-back certificate. I’m looking forward to his next album….

I don’t understand this guy. I haven’t gotten the right vibe from him or his music yet and that “Best I Ever Had” song hasn’t quite reached me yet. And that performance tonight…Ummm, why was he sitting throughout. BORING! Lil Wayne and the Cash Money folk made waaaay too much noise on stage; It got to a point where it seemed like they had nothing to say or rap about…ummm, no. Spare us next time! but seriously ppl, what am I missing, what is so special about Drake?!…

You know what? After watching the entire BET Awards Im kinda upset that Jeremih didnt get to perfom inside. He was so good on the RED CARPET, I just though that on the actually center stage he woulda been well appreciated and well recieved.
KEYSHIA COLE & MONICA – WHAT A MESS!
Admittedly stage setup was nice, simple but nice. IDK, but I didnt like the performance at all. There were times when I would hardly be able to hear a what they were singing. And Keyshia’s hair do was a huuuge turn off and now-a-days she’s looking too skinny, not sure Im feeling that. TBH, “Trust” is one of fav. KeyCole album but I really did not enjoy the performance.
RAMDOMS:
It was nice to see Queen La on stage rapping after all this time.
Lil Mama looked a mess with that do.
Loved Ciara’s tribute piece, she did her best.
Kanye and Amber were together ALL NIGHT! I guess that kinda throws the break-up rumour out the window, or does it?
BBV performed “POISON” - OLD SKOOOOOL! I danced my heart out to that song.
Ummmm….and what was up with the Soul Train guy who gave that long-a$$ speech for The Ojays?! Woooo, thank goodness they didnt let him host the show, we mighta been watching for twice as long.

I understand totally that you have never seen Cassie’s or WhatsHerName’s before so seeing their assets (or the lack there of) splatted all over your computer screen might shock you for a quick minute (if all that). The pics leaked, leave the celebs alone please. If there is anything we should be tryna do is to reassure their fans (the young men and women of tomorrow) that taking naked pics of yourself and sending it to other people via whatever medium, or taking naked pics and not remembering to delete them IMMEDIATELY after taking them is not OK. Trust me technology is no one’s friend! You do not wanna spend the rest of your life wondering where those pics might possible end up. That ain’t the business. – And if you ask me the focus seems to be more on the other female artist’s pics as opposed to Cassie’s! Figures.

LaLa Vasquez Wild n’ Out – If you haven’t seen it WATCH HERE! – If someone made recial comments against your family, especially your son, you would wild out too. And to think they got physical with LaLa (as she claimed) is even more reason to wild out. I probably won’t go for the eye for an eye approach. I’d simply cuss them out and walk away (this is on normal day). Had I been mad, or having a bad day, I woulda been all over the Hater like white on rice so fast that he/she/it/they won’t evn know what hit them. But I usually DO NOT condone fighting. Heck! Lauren London Preggers By Lil Wayne - Ummm…IDK what to say about this, I just HEARD this mess today. I didnt even know there was a spark between them in the first place. I musta missed the Memo about this one, or I must not have been keeping up with the gossip. I THOUGHT Nivea had Wayne on lock down, but I guess not. I thought she was preggers for him too, but no baby yet. Ppl, Gossip is Gossip. At the end of the day, I’m not part of their lives so I guess I will never KNOW and unless you are, you will never know either! – I only mentioned it cuz it crossed my mind…
Miss Cali this, Miss Cali that – If you haven’t seen it WATCH HERE! – Everybody is/was/always will be talking about this girl – SMH! I watched the show on TV myself while I was in L.A. and I have to say that I thought, especially in this day and age, her answer could have been a lot better than that! She could have been a lot more politically correct. WHO CARES WHAT HER and her FAMILY THINKS?! Her answer was irrelevant to the question. If same sex marriages were to be approved in all states, that simply means that the LGBT unions will be approved by law just as heterosexual marriages are. It means more “legal freedom” and choice for the LGBT communittee. Thats doesn’t stop or affect heterosexual marriages. So I think, there was no need to tell us what she and her family stood for. She was there to represent her country and her state, and I am very sure that there is a very large LGBT community in both. So in essence what she did was let-down a portion of her audience. She should have said something along the lines of “Yes, I think other states should follow suit because I believe American’s should have a freedom of choice in every aspect of life, including their sexuality. Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexuals, Trans-Sexuals should all be able to live as free as heterosexuals and should be protected by the same laws. etc etc.” I am not a pro at answering questions but you get my point! She shouldn’t be so narrow-minded especially as she was running for such a huuuuge title. Whether or no she should lose her crown is dependent on how much better (if at all) did the runner up perform throughout the pageant. I really can’t remember how the runner up did so IDK.

Michael Jackson MAY NOT Perform in London – *In my Wendy Raquel Robinson Voice*: After Michael done sold out so many tickets for 50 shows in a matter of hours you mean to tell me ONLY NOW some bugger remembers that Michael signed some contract prohibiting him from doing a solo tour before a Family Reunion tour?! Now what now? But for real though, Who is this bugger? And where does he get off telling Londoners that they can’t see Michael after they paid so much money?? I think this is really messed up, Michael claims he never agreed to the contract and that someone signed on his behalf and what not. If this really is true, and the contract really is air-tight all hell is gonna break loose in London. His fans are going to be hella disappointed. As much I wouldn’t mind seeing MJ, I am sure happy as hell that I did not buy a ticket!
Season Finale of THE GAME – I am proud to see a season end and Melanie and Derwin are together, getting married even. They’ve been through so much. I guess there is nothing I can say here, that I haven’t said before. They were meant for each other. they deserve to be happy for once darnnit! I can’t wait to watch the finally this weekend, I hope they’ll be some more Celeb cameos and some good music (as always). Lately I’ve been watching Season 1 and 2 over and over and I kinda wish Tasha will settle down with a good man and have another kid, IDK, Im just saying…The Game never disappoints.

Well If Hammer tried it and Mase tried it – who is DMX not to try it?…Remember last month I reported that DMX is due to release a gospel album sometime soon? Well, now there have been stories about (and even videos of) the rapper claiming he wants to become a pastor. Apparently X is planning to become a pastor upon release from prison. (If you don’t know why he’s in prison click here!) In a recent interview with Fox Pheonix (see below), DMX says, “Prison has gotten me closer to my true calling in life, closer to realizing, to actualising my true calling in life, which is to be a pastor. I read my bible every day they have me in 23-hour lock-in. I came here (prison) to meet somebody. Don’t know who it was but I’ll know him when I see him and I came here to give him a message and that message is Jesus loves him. I’m going to give my first sermon in the Church once I am free. That’s going to be incredible for me and I hope it will be incredible for the congregation of that church. I hope I’ll be able to reach somebody or just touch somebody and bring them closer to the Lord.“When asked about music, the rap-star states he won’t give up his music career, but instead dedicate it to praising God: “I actually have completed agospel album. On every one of my albums there has been a gospel song and a prayer, but with the tough rapper image, they never made those songs a single, except my sixth album.” – Anything is possible now-a-days!!!
