Who the hell leaves a doctor for some guy who doesn’t treat you right, you argue with, and isn’t going anywhere? What…because you love him…yeah…okay. Grown women know, even if you sleep with the thug, you don’t break up with the good guy. You get thug-boy out your system and you marry your man. While I don’t advocate cheating, I advocate stupidity even less. To any woman who would find herself in this situation (previous update), I’d say: Grow the hell up. Come on out and support the nations talented artist. – The evening ought to be very interesting. Especially for me who hates to read and as a result had never heard of the book before 2010. :-/

My skin is now pink and sore. I am hella sun burnt. But the day was fulfilling. Next walk, the Breast Cancer walk! See you there Chaz and Indi.

2010: The Year of Progress

ME! - 20/07/10 My BA Graduation - "The beginning of The Dream..." =)

I’ve been moping around a lot lately because I feel like I’ve been dealt a dirty hand by Love. But that’s private. I deal with that the best way I know how and in as much privacy as possible. When I am down about Love I am all the way down, I am a train wreck, and so the last thing I really need is for the world to see me at my worst.

One of the way’s I take my mind off that part of my life is by sharing positivity about the situation or by sharing as many lessons that I’ve learnt along the way of being in love, or being hurt by love. I truly believe that by sharing that knowledge with other I am helping others and I am helping me.

Every now and again I would post positive things on my Facebook page or on my Twitter page. It gives me a good feeling. One of the best feelings I have ever felt. “Remain positive despite the situation. A reward awaits you!” and “The best way to take your mind off the negative is to get on with the positive. Progress!” – two things I’ve learned a long the way. I live by them. They’re my mantra.

Speaking of progress, I am at that point where I feel like my life is truly coming together. You know when I moved back to St. Lucia 2 weeks ago, although I knew I have a purpose for being back, I was still very….very unsure of how life here would turn out. Two weeks later and I can truly see PROGRESS.

Almost a month ago I graduated a Bachelor of Marketing. Now I’m a hopeful job hunter, and I am on the road to losing 20 to 30lbs and keeping it off. I am now leading a more healthy life; spiritually, mentally and physically – and I am loving it! I have enrolled in driving school so you know what that means? Lol.

But seriously, I have started a list of things that I hope to check off or at least make a whole lot of progress on before my 2nd 21st birthday in December. *smirk*
