So today I had some time to think about life, life in general. And I managed to have a good laugh at myself. And you know what they say ‘Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.’ (who said that, anyway???)

Anyway – as I got to thinking I concluded that I have done some lame things in the past, befriended some lame people, made some pretty lame decisions and found myself in some lame situatioms. I look back now and I think ‘DAMN…damn, damn, damn…DAMN! I can’t believe I was so lame.’ LOL!

I once blogged about something Tyler Perry‘s character, ‘Madea‘, said in one of his theatre plays – she said something along the lines of if someone wants to walk out of your life let them because years down the line they’ll be so unimportant and insignificant, even their name will be a blur. And years down the line you’ll be thinking ‘What did I ever see in that person?’ or ‘What was I thinking?’ – Trust me, I know that’s some truth. Certain people, even situations and events are definitely starting to look like a speck of dust in my vision, like a distant memory, like a background-prop in my past. LOL!

But MOVING FORWARD AS ALWAYS…

Buddha was a smart guy!

The good thing about having to go through those lame situations that I’ve been through is the lessons that I’ve learnt along the way.

In closing, if you remember nothing else from this entry please remember this – Some of the silly situations that we go through sometimes can make us all the more wiser and make us so much more prepared for a better ‘next time’ if we allow them to.

PS: I didn’t use the word ‘mistake‘ throughout this entry because I sorta despise it (in this context)…Nothing is a mistake!
