IN DA SPOTLIGHT: Rih Rih goes ‘Malaysia

The Take A Bow, Umbrella & Good Girl Gone Bad artist has promised to be good for one night…in Malaysia.

Rihanna, known for her sexy concert costumes, is due to perform in Malaysia in February and, due to the country’s Muslim-majority strict rules on performers’ dress, has vowed to de-sex her on-stage appearance.

MALASIA GOV’T GUIDLINES: A female performer must be covered from the top of her chest, including her shoulders, to her knees.

She’s the latest of many international celebs to perform in Malaysia under these regulations…Both Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne have already faced protests over ‘immodest clothes’. Back in 2006, PCD concert organizers faced a fine of nearly $3,000 after the group was accused of breaching decency regulations.
