…Memorable Weekend!

Where do I begin?!
I’ve had a really great weekend, pretty eventful too!
Let’s start @ Friday – Friday night, Friday night! I wish every Friday night could have been like this Friday night. *dreamy sigh* Friday night was Date Night – I looked great, I felt great. Dinner was absolutely amazing; the food and the wine was exquisite. Needless to say company was…special. I couldn’t wish for anyone better. The entire tone and mood of the night was just soothing and intimate. As if that all that wasn’t great enough, we celebrated another milestone in our relationship. We worked hard to get to this point in our individual ways. Only up from here!
Saturday – *flashbacks* – On Saturday I made a hairdresser run – Gosh I love my hairdressers work! to die for! – Then later on My Bestie & I spent most of the day together. We went SHOPPIN’!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooooooo! Retail therapy put a smile on our faces and a dent in our bank accounts! *BBM Covers Eyes* LOL! We got ALL our vaval goodies, and right now we are super-R3DY! – Early night we attended the book signing of, St. Lucia’s very own, Loverly Sheridan – author of “A Girl Like Me” – RECOMMENDED READ! Check out her website here! – In the night we got all made up, shimmered up and glittered up, we went out and we had a grand ole time – Our glam was on 100 that night – forget turning heads, we were bra kin; necks! LOL! No but seriously, we looked great and felt even better. We went out to an all inclusive party at a popular venue – Honestly, the party did not live up to the hype. The drink selection was POOR! BUT…yes there’s a but…the music kept us and the rest of the crowd moving. The DJ’s were on rotation , so were the genres – what more did they need right? Kept us interested! There were strobe-lights, and smoke effects, dancers and body builders – the atmosphere in general was good. all in all though, We had a blast and we danced our A** Off! *insert our Bestie “Birthday Cake” dance (inside joke)* LOL!
Sunday – In the day I rested – no two ways about that. In the night though, PARRRRTAAAYYYY!! I attended a surprise bday pool do for a friend, I swan in the pool (paying heavy price for that decision, i got the cold right now), danced a lot (body’s aching), made peace with someone I don’t know very well – I had a BLAST!
Monday was a holiday – Whit Monday/Memorial Day – I didn’t wanna get out of bed. All I wanted to do was sleep…sleep some more….and then sleep again! But I had to do lunch with Him, and I had a cinema date with the bestie, so I had to get out. Monday was good, well-rested though.
