As of recent I’ve been spending a lot of my time making sure everything is in place for the new FAB-5 blogging venture ( www.mszandfriends.blogspot.com ) or I’ve been busy trying to enjoy my vacation to the max that I haven’t actually had time to type anything of major substance to share.

No, I have not abandoned you guys – as soon as Liaison is on its feet and I’m back from holidays then you will have a greater part of my attention.

Most times when I actually do come on to the blog I would re-read what I have already written to gather strength to carry me through another busy day or I’d post a few of my new favourite video/song/person/place/thing.

I’m excited about this post since I’m a huge fan of campaigns that benefit a cause. The cause in the spotlight is Cancer.

Cancer is a prevalent disease in our world that claims the lives of many people yearly..

I am especially delighted to share this info with you guys because as you may have guessed I am a HUGE music fan and it just so happens that the highlight of this campaign is a song produced by none other than the man Babyface himself along with L.A Reid (which, by the way, happens to be their first collaboration is about 20 years – just a little fact).

The song is titled “Just Stand Up” and it features a number of A-list winning women from the music world. Mariah Carey, Keyshia Cole, Rihanna, Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Mary J. Blige, Melissa Ethridge, Sheryl Crow, Ashanti, Leona Lewis, Ciara, Leanne Rhimes, Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield and Carrie Underwood can all be heard singing on the track. He single will become available for purchase sometime in September of this year.

I have seen what cancer can do to people personally, and I am more than willing to donate something for this cause whatever little it may be.
