Welcome to my online journal. I promise that this will be my release spot for at least the next three months. When I meet that quota I will decide if this is really a challenge or task I would like to continue with.
As of recent I have been caught with the four walls of an assylum called ‘Exams’.But I’m getting along ok. Thank God, it is almost over. I finish in a matter of days. Tomorrow I have a 3 hour paper to write…SIGH…But wah fi do? I gotta do what I gotta go right?
I am a Caribbean woman so from time to time, I may drop a little dialect here and there, just as i did in the paragraph above. Lol.
I often describe myself as ‘What you see is What you get’. Many may misinterpret this and think that all there is to Zindzi is her pretty face and womanly curves. Ha! They’re all just so wrong! I live very comfortably in my skin but trust that I am more than skin deep. I respect others’ private lives and I wish for them to return the favour.
Zindzi is at the point in her life where everything is as it should be. I am on the verge of completing community college here in St. Lucia. I already have plans set out for university. I have a wonderful family. My friends network is very small and close knit. I am happy but not settled!
I am very faithful and loyal. I am very protective about poeple and things that I love, value and appreciate. My friends describe that as controlling. I love them for it! I really do think I am though, just not in an aggressive fashion.
God is GOOD, i tell yah! He’s taking me on this journey. This journay I call ‘Beauty’. I chose the word beauty, because It best describes my life and personality. I know that I am a very beauty-full woman inside and out. And I love me, as I rightfully should!
I am living a healthy life in order to benefit from what God has ahead for me. I think luck is over-rated. Its all in the hard work and believing. He take us to limits far beyond anything we could imagine in a lifetime and I know there’s more in store for me, even you. I truly believe He’s only going to make things even better form me and the good people around me.
I have come to really appreciate myself as a young woman who is never and will never be constant. I know I am a remarkable one at that! I have a great love for self. I am not arrogant or conceited but I understand and appreciate me. I know what i want out of life and in time you too will know just what that is. You just might recognize it before i even get around to writing it. Lol. AMBITION, i tell yuh!
I know who I am. I am an ever-growing and ever-learning being who has understood that life should be treated with optimism. I am a young, vivacious, energetic, humourous and fun-loving Sistah who loves to have and can give a good laugh. I need for no one to validate what I do, when I do it or how and why I choose to do it. My determination and persistence comes from the little mistakes I have made in the past and refuse to make again. I am intelligent, imaginative, creative, unique, disciplined, loyal, pleasant, poised, and sincere. I am both sexy and beautiful beyond measure.
I believe that I have been placed on this earth for a purpose, one which I most definitely intend to fulfil. I am very appreciative of many things, especially happiness and laughter. I can find fun and enjoyment in the simplest things. I’m a simple kinda girl. I am extremely affable, sometimes i think I’m too too friendly (is there such a thing?). I gel very easily with various personalities. I am very forgiving, as Ghandi said ‘Forgiveness is the attridute of the strong, the weak can never forgive.’ I live by that.
I am thankful for the driving forces in my life; my friends and my family. I only surround myself with people who can support me. I DO NOT, however, like to be judged. There is a clear distinction between pointing out a fault in someone honestly and judging that person. I know that it’s none of our jobs, as humans, to pass judgment on one another.
I detest dishonesty and negativity. I dislike persons with those traits. They need to stand clear of my way. I know “when is when”. I’m straight and serious when it’s time to be. I am I am very focused and determined. Everything I endeavour into, I give it my utmost BEST. I’m a ‘go getter’ and, most times, an achiever.
I am as unique as my name. I believe there is no one else like me. I am special and unique. I do what I do best. No one can do what I do better than I can do it. What you do, you do best, I can’t do it like you, no one can. Everyone has their own distinct characteristics. And you guys can trust that Zindzi has got the Zindzi thing on lock! OKAY, Lol!
….Sigh…I know it’s alot to digest. And yet there’s still so much to know.
Looking forward to sharing this ‘Beauty’ with you, the world! I have dreams as big as…heck…bigger than the UNIVERSE. Look out for me, HERE I COME!
